Firefighter's Association
The Loma Linda Firefighters's Association is a non-profit charity based group comprised of the members of the Loma Linda Fire Department. Loma Linda Firefighters's Association is focused on giving back to the community through monetary donations, events to bring the community together, and providing volunteers for other charitable pursuits. Loma Linda Firefighters's Association continues to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and is a proud contributor to the Spark of Love Toy Drive.
The Loma Linda Firefighters's Association was a driving force in the creation of the 9/11 Memorial that sits proudly outside Station 1. The members have hosted pancake breakfasts, golf tournaments, pictures with Santa, and are always looking for creative ways to participate with the community. The association work is completely volunteer as the only compensation is the increased moral amongst the men and women who help out. As fire families all know, it's not just the firefighter who is involved with the work but it is a families effort; kids and spouses included, that make any association function a success.
