IMPORTANT: PARKING PERMITS EXPIRE ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2024
Starting September 1, 2024, you can apply for or renew your parking permit by following these steps:
- Access the Application:
- Complete the Online Application:
- Enter your street address.
- Choose either Residential Permit or Guest Permit from the drop-down menu.
- Fill out all the required fields with accurate information.
Important: Upload all three required documents as proof of residency. The application will not be processed without these documents.
- Submit Your Application:
- After completing the form and uploading your documents, click CONTINUE.
- You will receive a temporary permit valid for 30 days. You can print this permit directly from the website or from the link provided in your confirmation email.
- You must display the temporary permit on your dashboard in the designated area.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your application will remain PENDING and will NOT BE PROCESSED until all required steps are completed and necessary documents are provided.
- Receiving Your Permanent Permit:
- Once your application is approved, the permanent permit will be mailed to you via USPS mail.
PERMITS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP AT CITY HALL. If you do not have internet access, a kiosk is available at the Civic Center to complete the online application. Need Assistance? If you encounter any issues during the application process, please click here to email for assistance.

Parking Permit Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a parking permit, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Residency Requirement:
Note: (CVC 14600 (A) requires you to notify the DMV within ten days of changing your address.
- Vehicle Registration with an address matching the permit address.
Note: Address Changes CVC §§4159, 4160, and 9865, registered and legal owners must notify the DMV of an address change within 10 days.
- Original Rental Agreement naming the applicant as a resident at the permit address (copies are NOT accepted).
- Utility Bill (dated within the last 30 days) listing the tenant at the permit address (e.g., Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer).
Note: Cable and telephone bills are NOT accepted.
- Homeowner Documents, such as a Tax Assessor's notice or Deed of Trust.
- Current Student Enrollment with the permit address.
- Pay Stub with the permit address.
3. Proof of Current Vehicle Registration:
