Economic Development

The City of Loma Linda prioritizes attracting new retail, research-based, and high-tech industrial development to increase sales and property tax revenues as well as local job opportunities. The department, along with the City Manager's office, also oversees negotiation and development of agency-owned real estate in designated Redevelopment Project Areas. 

The economic development effort of the City of Loma Linda is a vital element to the city's overall goal of continuing to provide quality services in a family oriented community. A strong foundation of cooperation and support from all sectors of the community working together for a common mission is necessary. It is in that spirit that the mission of the economic development program was forged.
